The doctor will take phone calls relating to you or your family’s health.
If the doctor is busy seeing patients when you call, you may leave a message with the receptionist for him or her to return your call at a later time. If the matter is a medical emergency, please call “000” instead and ask for ambulance service.
Phone calls need to be kept short and to the point in order to minimise disruption to the doctor’s schedule. Keep in mind that the time the doctor spends with you on the phone is time taken away from the patients waiting at the surgery to see the doctor. This may mean longer waiting periods for these patients.
Fees may be charged at doctor’s discretion.
